POLICE arrested a drug driver driving the wrong way along a stretch of the M56 motorway at Warrington last night.
The male driver was arrested on the Warrington stretch of the M56 for allegations of Dangerous Driving, Possession of Cannabis and Drug Driving.
He was taken into custody after it was alleged to be driving the wrong way on the motorway.
In another incident last night a male was arrested for an alleged Possession of a Bladed Article in Warrington town centre.
