MP Helen Jones is urging Warrington residents, who have yet to do so, to take advantage of the compensation on offer for non-season ticket holders following the May 2018 timetable change.
The Warrington North MP said: “Transpennine Express have launched a compensation scheme for non season ticket holders who were affected by the disruption following the changes to the timetable in May. They have the opportunity to apply for a full refund on specific routes across the North.
“I would urge people to check if they are eligible and, if so, to claim. People have until December 4 to submit their application.”
- Anyone that travelled between three and five days, consecutively within a week, between May 20 and June 30 will be eligible for a refund on applicable routes.
- Applicants will need to prove proof of travel and successful applications will receive a full refund via bank transfer.
- Applications can be made online at :www.tpexpress.co.uk/help/may-timetable-compensation
The claim period for season ticket holders has also been extended to the December 4.
