WARRINGTON’S Own Buses are operating shuttle bus services for those travelling to the Creamfields music festival between today (Thursday) and Sunday.
The company are ferrying festival-goers from both Warrington Interchange and Stevenson Square in Manchester to the festival every hour from 9am-5pm today and tomorrow.
Buses will then operate to and from the site over the weekend, starting at 9am on Saturday until 1pm on Monday.
Ben Wakerley, managing director at Warrington’s Own Buses, said: “Festival season is upon us and we’re pleased once again to be playing our part to help the thousands of festival-goers make the journey to Creamfields.
“Our buses will be providing a frequent and affordable link for those heading to the festival and will help to ease the anticipated traffic congestion in the area over the weekend.
“We hope everyone attending has a fantastic time”.
Buses from Warrington Interchange will cost £3.50 for a single, or £7 return, and will be departing from Stand 3 in the Interchange. Tickets can be purchased online, or on the day from the Interchange, cash only.
Buses from Manchester will cost £6 for a single, or £12 return, and will depart from stand TE at Stevenson Square – but only advance, pre-booked tickets for the outward bound leg will be accepted.
For those arriving by train, Warrington Interchange is a two minute walk from Central Station. For those arriving at Warrington Bank Quay, passengers can catch any Cheshire Cat service from outside the station, which operate every 10 minutes, to the Interchange for a £1 fare.

  1. Don’t they always have shuttle busses running to Creamfields ? Also how come it’s £3.50 (single) from Warrington Interchange to Cream and only £6.00 from all the way from Manchester. But unfair than Mancs travelers get a much better deal price wise.

But hey….that aside it’s a great idea as it’s quite hard to get to Creamfields by foot from the town centre and taxis are charging a fortune IF you can get one.

Hoping everyone has a great time and the rain goes away 😀
