Boy in hospital after aerosol can explodes

A TEENAGE boy is in hospital today after being injured when an aerosol can exploded in a fire at Warrington.
The incident was shortly after 7pm last night in woodland off Vulcan Close, Padgate.
Firefighters were called to the scene after reports of a small fire.
They discovered an aerosol had exploded in the fire and a boy had suffered burns.
Paramedics treated the youngster at the scene and he was then taken by ambulance to Aintree Hospital, Liverpool.
The fire was extinguished using water and the area was cordoned off.
Fire crews from Birchwood were at the scene for about three and-a-half hours and police also investigated.
