Firefighters tackle kitchen blaze

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a kitchen fire at a property in Birchwood, Warrington.
The crews, from Warrington and Lymm, wore breathing apparatus to tackle the outbreak in Teal Grove, using a hose reel jet.
Later they used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property.
No-one was reported hurt in the incident, which was caused by an overheated grill pan.
Firefighters from Warrington were also called out to deal with a fire involving two wheelie bins in Orford Avenue, Warrington – again using a hose reel jet to extinguish the blasé.
