Two men sought after town centre disturbance

UPDATED: POLICE at Warrington have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a disturbance in the town centre.

A young woman they wanted to trace, who also featured in the CCTV images has now been identified.

The incident was on Saturday April 7 but enquiries are still ongoing and officers believe the three people in the images may be able to help with their investigation.

It was at around 5.20am on April 7 that there was a disturbance involving several people in Bridge Street, at the junction with Academy Way

Police are urging anyone who recognises the two men in the images, or thinks they may know who they are, to get in touch.

Police Constable Michael Hayes said: “We believe the two men  in the CCTV images may have vital information to help with our ongoing investigation.

“If you think you recognise them or know who they are please call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 29975, give us the details via https://cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the people in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
