EXPANDING national firm WHP Telecoms is moving its headquarters to Warrington’s Birchwood Park.
The company is relocating from St James’s Court, Warrington and taking 19,000 sq ft on the first floor of 401 Faraday Street.
The new office, which will accommodate 190 employees, has been fitted out to WHP’s specifications including a modern open plan layout with agile and collaborative working areas.
WHP Telecoms is a provider of services for the planning, design, acquisition, deployment, upgrade and maintenance of mobile network masts. Earlier this year, itannounced a management buyout.
Chief executive officer Rob Potter said: “Our employees are absolutely at the heart of this move. We wanted to offer an office location that could not only deliver on a practical level with excellent car parking and travel options, but could also contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of our employees.
“The various onsite amenities and community feel at Birchwood Park is what makes it the premier destination for businesses in this area, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the community here.”
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, added: “Wellbeing has been at the heart of everything we do at Birchwood Park for the last 20 years. We firmly believe that employees should expect more from their workplace and this continues to attract businesses looking to invest further in employee satisfaction and productivity. WHP Telecoms is the perfect fit in this regard and we’re looking forward to seeing the team become a part of our vibrant business community.”
This year, Birchwood Park is celebrating 20 years of growth. Since 1998 the park has almost tripled in size, providing 1.1million sq ft of office and warehouse space and accommodating over 165 businesses.
