Distressed woman rescued from railway bridge at Latchford

POLICE and fire crews helped rescue a distressed woman from the edge of a disused railway bridge at Latchford, Warrington, last night.

A hydraulic ladder unit from Cheshire Fire & Rescue was used to carry the woman to safety from the disused Latchford railway bridge.

The woman is now receiving the help she needs.
