Police investigate suspected arson attack on Orford home

POLICE are investigating a suspected arson attack on a property at Orford, Warrington, when a letterbox was set on fire.

The incident took place at around 5.55pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Currans Road in Warrington.

The fire involving a letterbox was out on arrival.

Firefighters were in attendance for just under two hours and police also attended.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Cheshire Police on 101.
