FIRE crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to Warrington town centre early today after fire was reported in a disused building.
The fire was in a small, unused brick building, measuring about three metres by two metres, in Slutchers Lane, off Wilson Patten Street.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident. They were at the scene for about one hour.
There are no reports of injuries and the cause of the outbreak has not been revealed.
