A BURST water pipe led to a blaze at the Environment Agency premises at Warrington this morning.
Some staff were sent home as firefighters tackled the blaze in a building off Wash Lane, Latchford.
A hand-held drier was used to extinguish the fire. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus during the operation.
The blaze was caused by water leaking onto an electrical installation.
