THE first round of Warrington Council’s garden waste collections start on March 6 for residents who have bought their green bin licences.
For anyone who hasn’t bought a 2018 licence – there is still time. If you have paid lately but your sticker hasn’t yet arrived – don’t worry. The council’s computerised system means that, if you’ve paid, you’ll be on the list.
In addition to the stickers, each refuse collection vehicle has an in-cab computer system telling them which residents have subscribed. The in-cab computer system is updated daily with any new applications added to the round.
If you had a licence for last year – you still need to buy one for this year. Licences are £34 or £31 if you buy online.
