Woman celebrates 107th birthday in care home

A FORMER hostess at the Burtonwood Airbase has celebrated her 107th birthday at a Warrington care home.
Hilda Lightfoot celebrated with family, friends and staff at the Heathercroft Nursing Home at Woolston.
Believed to be one of the oldest people in Cheshire, Hilda loved to travel and has been to the United States, Australia and Europe – travelling to Spain twice a year until she was 95.
In her younger days she was also keen on cycling, walking and jogging.
