THE wife of missing Warrington man Keith Taylor has made a heartfelt plea for help to locate her missing husband as police become increasingly concerned about his welfare.

Keith, 76, was last seen by his family at his home address in the Padgate area of Warrington at 7.30am on 15 December and has not been seen since, despite an extensive search by officers.

He is described as 5’ 4” tall, white, with grey hair which has flecks of black in it, and a grey moustache. He is likely to be wearing blue jeans, which are frayed at the bottom, and a navy Regatta zip up jacket.

Keith’s wife Anita said: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for us. We are missing Keith so much and are very upset that he isn’t at home with us.

“Keith, if you are reading or listening to this, please know that you are loved so much by your family, friends and all those who know you and we desperately want you to come back home.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been involved in helping to find Keith and I deeply appreciate all your support.

“The public have all been so kind and I thank you all so much. Please continue to be vigilant, please look out for any sightings of Keith and report them to police on 101 however insignificant you feel the information is.”

Chief Inspector Jez Taylor added: “It’s now nearly a week since Keith was last seen and, despite our best efforts, we have still yet to trace his whereabouts. This is totally out of character for Keith and we are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare.

“We are particularly concerned as we know that he’s not been feeling well recently and has had some dizzy spells; he also suffers from Raynaud’s disease which causes numbness to his fingers and limited in dexterity.

“Extensive searches are ongoing across the Warrington area. There is nothing to indicate that he will have gone out of the area, although we do know that he liked to visit Leigh and Bolton town centres.”

As part of on-going enquiries to locate Keith officers are working closely with a number of support agencies, including the National Police Air Support unit and the North West Underwater Search. The team are also being supported by volunteers from a number of Search and Rescue teams in the region.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 786 of 15 December 2017.

Police have also issued CCTV footage of Keith walking in Warrington town centre – see below.
