A TRAVELLER has arrived back at the Miller and Carter pub car park at Westbrook, Warrington.

A Warrington Council spokesperson said: “An encampment comprising one caravan and an associated vehicle has arrived on private land at the Milkler & Carter pub at Westbrook.

“We have been in contact with the landowner who is in the process of instructing bailiffs to evict the encampment.”

Last week four caravans and associated vehicles set up encampment on the pub car park, with another traveller parking on the neighbouring International Business centre car park.

  1. Isn’t it well past the time to get tough with “travellers”and people who set up illegal camps on private and public land, councils certainly get tough with residents who pay council tax and all the other taxes associated with living in permanent dwellings.
Stop pussyfooting round and get the job done of prosecuting ’em.
