Hot food takeaway shop planned

PLANS for a new hot food takeaway shop in Winwick Road, Warrington, are set to come before borough council planning chiefs.
The proposals, put forward by Domino’s Pizza involve a disused former bed showroom which would be divided into two units, with one used for the takeaway.
A new shopfront would be installed.
A report to be considered by the borough’s development management committee, states that the new business would employ 10 full time staff and a similar number of part-timers. It would be open from 11am to 11pm seven days a week.
Officers say the proposal would help secure the continued vitality and viability of the Winwick Road part of the town and overall it was considered the scheme was accepted.
No objections have been received.
