A DISCARDED cigarette is believed to have set a tree on fire at Stockton Heath, Warrington.
One fire engine from Warrington Fire Station went to the scene in Greenbank Gardens, where the tree was well-alight.
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
