ALL the 71 primary schools in Warrington are either good or outstanding – and that’s according to education watchdog Ofsted.
A recent report on Penketh Primary revealed that the school was good in all areas and outstanding in early years provision – and that meant that 100 per cent of the borough’s primary schools have hit the mark.
Cllr Jean Carter (pictured), the borough council’s lead member for children’s services said: “I’m very pleased for Penketh Primary and delighted for the borough’s children that all the primary schools have reached this level.
“Having a 100 per cent success rate for our primary provision is something that should make all our teachers, support staff, parents, governors and children very proud. I am certainly proud of all of their efforts.”
The latest report on Penketh Primary said it was good in all areas and outstanding in early years provision.
Inspectors said: “Pupils thrive in the caring environment of this much-improved school. They become confident and capable learners who are prepared well for the next stage of their education.”
