WARRINGTON Collegiate is celebrating after being ranked 8th nationally for overall achievement in the Further Education and Skills National Achievement Rate Tables (June 2017).

Figures show that the college ranked significantly higher than other colleges in the surrounding area with an 88.9% overall achievement rate, improving its ranking significantly from 136th nationally in 2013/14.

Nichola Newton, Principal and CEO, said:“The college continues to go from strength to strength. This is an excellent achievement and testimony to the hard work of our students and staff. A top ten ranking nationally puts us in a very strong position as we prepare to merge with Mid Cheshire College in August 2017”.

This is the latest cause for celebration for Warrington Collegiate, also listed as the best Further Education College in Cheshire in November 2016, in FE Week’s overall college league table.
