Woman suffered burns in house fire

A WOMAN  suffered burns to her hand tackling a fire at her home in Walton, Warrington.
Firefighters treated her injuries when they arrived at the house in Runcorn Road. The fire was out when they reached the scene.
The blaze was caused by an electric fire in the lounge. The woman had been reported in the property but in fact was outside when crews arrived.
In another incident, firefighters  went to Pinewood Avenue, Padgae when fire broke out involving a wheelie bin inside the property. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the outbreak.
Three fire engines were involved in both incidents.
