FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a refuse fire at Sankey Valley Park and two grass fires at Westy Park yesterday evening.
The fire at Sankey Valley Park, by Liverpool Road, Warrington, involved refuse on fire in a wooded area at 7pm last night.
Earlier Firefighters used beaters to extinguish two separate grass fires at the back of Westy Park on Bridgewater Avenue, Latchford.
