Airliner pilot dazzled by laser pen over Warrington

A LASER pen was aimed at an airliner flying over Warrington last night – dazzling the pilot for about five seconds.
The source of the green laser pen was identified as Stockton Heath.
Police issued a warning today after the incident was reported to them by the captain of the EasyJet ‘plane.
A police spokesman said: “If this was you, be warned this is a very serious offence, which we will deal with robustly.
“Also bear in mind that this thoughtless action could have devastating consequences.”
