Thief arrested when he returned to the scene of crime

AN alleged thief who returned to the scene of his crime at Warrington was recognised, arrested and found to be equipped to steal.
He was also found in possession of shirts worth £250 – suspected to be stolen.
The suspect was arrested in the town centre for theft from JD Sports on March 3.
Staff at the shop recognised him when he returned yesterday and raised the alarm.
When arrested the man was found to have a large gift bag which had been foil-lined and the shirts.
Police praised shop staff for being alert and town centre security staff who assisted in the arrest.
