Firefighters tackle bedroom blaze

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a bedroom fire at a house at Warrington early today.
The blaze was at a house in Mayfield Road, Grappenhall and broke out shortly before 2am.
Two fire engines from Stockton Heath went to the scene and one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus tackled the outbreak with a hose reel jet.
A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property and an investigation has started into the cause of the fire.
There are no reports of injuries.
