THE air ambulance attended a serious road traffic collision on Orford Road, Warrington, this morning involving a car and a cyclist.
The incident took place at around 8am near the junction of Oakwood Avenue. The male cyclist has been taken to hospital with head injuries.
No other vehicles were involved and although there were initial traffic delays in the area, it is now starting to clear.
