Firefighters tackle wheelie bin fires

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle two wheelie bin fires in Warrington last night.

The first was just before 11pm at an address in Poplars Avenue, Orford, Warrington.

The second took place half an hour later on Statham Avenue, Warrington. It is believed that this fire was started deliberately.

Earlier in the day Firefighters were called to an incident at Hollins Park Hospital in Warrington.

When they got there they found that there had been a small fire involving some fluff in a tumble dryer but this was out when they arrived.
