Firefighters tackle house fire at Longford

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning to tackle a house fire in Longford, Warrington.

The fire involved garden furniture which spread into a property in Densham Avenue at around 2.45am.

Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to tackle the flames. A high pressure fan was used to clear smoke.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Earlier firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out a fire in a bungalow in Samuel Street, Warrington. A high pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the property.
