Fire crews release trapped motorist on M6

FIREFIGHTERS from Stockton Heath had to remove a door from a badly damaged car to release an injured person after a crash on the M6 early today.
The collision was on the southbound carriageway between junctions 18 and 19.
Crews were at the scene for an hour and traffic was held up.
The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
