“Record” arrest in the town centre

A SUSPECTED thief was tracked through Warrington town centre after a number of vinyl records were stolen from Sainsbury’s on Church Street.
The suspect was eventually arrested in Golden Square as a result of co-ordination between CCTV staff, Sainsbury’s staff and town centre PCSOs who “steered” a police officer to the right place to make the arrest.
