Children showered with glass after gang hurl object at car

POLICE are hunting a gang of youths who threw an object at a car window at Great Sankey, Warrington, showering three young children passengers with glass.

The incident happened on Cannons Road, Great Sankey at around 19.30pm last night (Nov 5th).

The object smashed the rear passenger window where a child was sat in a booster seat along with their brother and sister showering them in glass.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 795 5/11/16.

In another incident about half an hour later, police are also  looking for anyone who may of witnessed a group youths throwing an object off a bridge at a train on Liverpool Road, Great Sankey at around 20:00 05/11/2016.

The object smashed the driver’s window. Please call 101 quoting Incident 823 5/11/16
