A man was arrested for an alleged sexual assault on a female in Bridge Street, Warrington, on what was otherwise a relatively quiet night for police.
The alleged incident took place at 04.25 am. The only other incident reported by police was a male being arrested on Bridge Street for being drunk and disorderly at 5.20am.
