House fire caused by electrical fault

FIRE broke out inside a semi-detached house at Warrington last night as a result of a fault on an electrical box.
Two fire engines from Warrington went to the scene in Sunningdale Close, Burtonwood just before 8pm and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using two hose reel jets and one covering jet.
A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
Smoke alarms in the house activated and raised the alarm. There were no reports of casualties.
