Volunteers lend a helping hand at Walton Lea Partnership

VOLUNTEERS rolled up their sleeves to give a helping hand to local charity the Walton Lea Partnership.

The large band of merry helpers from Lend Lease spent a day helping the staff and beneficiaries at Walton Lea to paint a new look tearoom, refresh the garden room, furniture showroom and farm shop.

A group of helpers also worked on a new living wall in the Victorian Walled Garden helping erect a new pergola and garden beds for upcoming horticulture projects.

The charity, which also has premises on Long Lane, Warrington,  which supports adults with learning difficulties, is always on the look out for volunteers to lend a helping hand.
