Pudsey Bear needs a little help in Warrington

PUDSEY Bear is coming to Warrington – and volunteers are needed to actually BE Pudsey.
They are wanted to wear the Pudsey suit and meet and greet children of all ages in the town centre.
Louise Nutter, one of the organisers of Children in Need volunteer fundraisers in the North West, said: “We’ve got a big event coming up in Warrington to mark Children in Need and we have a host of other events over the next few weeks for the charity.
“We need volunteers to wear the Pudsey suit and meet and greet children of all ages in the town centre and at stores we have arranged appearances with.
“All we’re asking for is an hour or two of a volunteer’s time because at each event we need six people to wear the suit in rotation. So if you want to be involved you can come alone or bring some friends and have plenty of fun. The suit fits all sizes. If you want to be Pudsey all you have to do is ring 01282 459 533 and leave your details. We will ring you back with more information.”
Stores or shopping centres that would like a visit from Pudsey should also call the number.
There is also a need for volunteer collectors and helpers.
