Early morning blaze at retail park

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Warrington’s Alban Retail Park, off Hawleys Lane, early this morning when two large skips caught fire.
The blaze was tackled with a hose reel jet and no damage was reported to nearby property.
In another early morning incident, firefighters went to Somerset Way, Woolston, where a van was on fire. Again, a hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
Earlier, fire crews dealt with a waste bin on fire in Gainsborough Road, Warrington and conifer trees on fire outside a house in St Stephen’s Avenue, Orford.
