Man caught with broken bottle on CCTV

A MAN caught on CCTV possessing a broken bottle as an offensive weapon is to be quizzed about making threats to security staff at a Warrington retail park.

A CCTV operator spotted the male with the broken bottle in his hand and officers were dispatched to intercept him – it is alleged that he made an attempt to hide the item in a flower bed but the camera operator saw what was happening.

The male is currently in a cell and will also have matters from last Friday put to him when he was alleged to have made threats against two members of retail park security staff.
