VIDEO: DESPITE overcast skies and torrential rain earlier in the day Stockton Heath Walking Day managed to dodge the showers for the annual Walk of Witness through the village.
Following a service on Alexandra Park with a theme of Journeys, this year’s walk was led by Bethesda Church.
The walk was slightly delayed by some technical issues with a sound system but eventually got under way.
Hundreds of villagers lined the streets along with the Mayor of Warrington Cllr Faisal Rashid, Warrington South MP David Mowat and Parish Council Chairman Cllr Peter Walker.
