Three fire engines called to industrial blaze

FIRE engines from Warrington, Birchwood and Stockton Heath were called to an industrial building at Warrington at lunchtime today.
The blaze was in an office at the building in Liverpool Road, Bewsy and smoke was issuing from the premises when crews arrived.
The fire was caused by an extractor fan unit on the ground floor.
Crews liaised with the onsite engineer to remove the fan before checking the area for hot spots, using a thermal imaging camera.
The incident was then handed over to the onsite engineers.
There were no reports of injuries.
