POLICE at Warrington are hunting a youth who snatched a handbag from a woman this afternoon.
The offences took place at a subway in Whitecross Road at about 4pm and the offender is described as a male, about 15-years-old, with ginger hair. He fled the scene on a bicycle, heading towards the Peace Centre at Great Sankey.
The woman was pushed to the ground in the incident but is not thought to have been seriously hurt.
Police issued an appeal to the public that anyone with information about the incident should call them on 101 quoting incident number 629 of 4-6-16.
