ONE of the most attractive buildings in Warrington town centre, which has stood empty for years, could be brought back to life.
The former Martin’s Bank = later to become the co-op Bank – at the corner of Bridge Street and Rylands Street could become an apartment building, also including a restaurant or bar.
A planning application has been submitted to the borough council and officers are considering the proposals for the Grade 2 listed building.
If approved, the proposals are for the exterior to remain largely unchanged but the interior would be completely altered and refurbished.
