VETERAN councillor Frank Pennington – who was recently honoured by the Town Council by being appointed as a Freeman of Frodsham – has received another honour.
Frodsham and district Stroke Club has awarded him the title of Life Patron in recognition of his 40 years service to Frodsham and support for the Stroke Club.
He said: “I am really delighted to have received this award.
“The Stroke Club does extremely valuable work in Frodsham and district and I am pleased to be able to support it whenever I can.”
Cllr Pennington is due to be presented with his Freedom of Frodsham award at a special ceremony in June.
