Local house builder Barratt Developments, which includes Warrington based David Wilson Homes (DWH), has achieved a five star rating for customer satisfaction.

It received a major national award from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for achieving a 90% customer satisfaction score, and Barratt Homes is the only major national house builder to have been awarded the maximum five star rating for seven years in a row.

The housebuilder took part in the UK-wide survey of more than 45,000 homebuyers which revealed that over 90% of DWH and Barratt customers would recommend the homes to a friend.

The high customer satisfaction for the company comes from checking more than 400 details throughout the build process and three separate inspections are involved before any front door keys are handed over.

The HBF’s star rating scheme is designed to provide home buyers with information to help guide their decision.

Steve Jackson, Sales Director at DWH North West, said: “To achieve over 90% customer satisfaction for seven years in a row shows that we build high quality homes which customers love living in and would recommend to a friend.

“We take an enormous amount of pride in the high levels of build quality and service we deliver for customers across the North West, and we’re proud to be a 5 star house builder.”

A major new advertising and marketing campaign from DWH and Barratt highlighting the 90% customer recommendation score and 5 star rating will soon be launching across the region.

The HBF is the voice of the home building industry in England and Wales, with its members delivering around 80% of all the new homes built each year.
