FIRE crews were called out this afternoon to deal with a fire involving large quantity of wood at Warrington.
The blaze was in Mustard Lane, Croft shortly after 12 noon.
Firefighters from Birchwood extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
Cause of the outbreak has not been revealed.
