Investigation into cause of car fire

AN investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire involving a car at Frodsham late last night (Friday).
The blaze involved a car in Ashton Road and fire crews from Frodsham Fire Station were called to the scene. They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames, which caused extensive damage to the vehicle.
Afterwards, fire service experts were called in to determine the cause of the fire.
