Dance studio plan for industrial estate

PLANNING chiefs at Warrington are to be asked to approve two dance studios in an existing industrial building.
The proposed change of use involves a unit on the Sankey Bridges Industrial Estate, on Liverpool Road, Great Sankey.
Now external changes are proposed to the building itself, but additional car park spaces and landscaping is indicated.
Two nearby residents have objected on the grounds of inadequate parking provision, increased traffic and road safety issues, noise – particularly at night -and loss of mature trees.
But planning officers say the proposal will not result in detrimental impacts to amenity, highway safety, the character and amenity of the area nor to employment policies.
