FIREFIGHTERS rescued 10 people who were trapped in a lift at Warrington’s Padgate campus after it became stuck between the ground and the first floor.
Equipment was used to open the doors and release the passengers during the incident yesterday lunchtime at the University of Chester’s Padgate campus.
First aid was given to two of the people and paramedics attended.
