TWO fire engines were sent to a report of a house fire in Morton Avenue, Frodsham last night (Friday)
Crews from Frodsham and Ellesmere Port went to the scene and discovered the blaze involved a microwave oven in the kitchen.
They carried the oven outside and extinguished the flames with a hose reel jet before using a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property.
There were no reports of injuries.
