ELECTIONS are to be held for two seats on Frodsham Town Council to replace former chairman Mark Warren and former councillor Jason Fraser, both of who have resigned.
The by-elections for the Lakes Ward seats, will take place on Thursday, February 18 if contested.
Nominations close on Friday, January 22 at 4pm and nomination papers can be obtained during normal office hours from Cheshire West and Chester Council Democratic Services, 2nd Floor, HQ Building, 58, Nicholas Street, Chester, CH1 2NP.
Mr Warren resigned after four-and-half years on the council, alleging a “systemic culture of bullying”.  His resignation followed that of former Town Clerk John Wild for similar reasons.
Mr Fraser resigned after eight months on the council stating that an increased workload meant he no longer had sufficient time to dedicate to the role of a councillor.
