A TOTAL of 21 arrests were made in Warrington town centre over the weekend as police responded to increased activity by revellers in the run-up to Christmas.
Twenty three dispersal notices were issued – requiring people to leave the area – and two arrests were made for breaching dispersal notices.
There were eight arrests for drunk and disorderly, four for possession of Class A drugs, five for public order offences, one for assault and one for drink driving
