TAMARA Pritchard will have her design brought to life after winning Warrington Collegiate’s Christmas card competition.

THE winners of this year’s Christmas card competition have been revealed after dozens of entrieswere received.

Inspired by the magic of Christmas, Tamara Pritchard’s winning design features an icy Christmas tree, complete with snowflakes which will now be sent across the town.

Participants were asked to either work individually or as a group to design the card, which could feature a photograph, drawing or animation.

As well as seeing her card sent out to hundreds of people, Tamara has also received £100 worth of high street vouchers.

The 18-year-old, who is studying for her HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Computing Systems, was presented with her prize by Principal Nichola Newton earlier this week.

Nichola said: “The entries in this year’s Christmas card competition were fantastic. It was a really tough decision choosing the winners but we believe Tamara’s design really captures the magic of Christmas. We’re really looking forward to seeing the printed card sent to our partners across Warrington.”

Also receiving a prize was Vocational Studies pupil Teri Fouracre.

The 19-year-old was presented with £20 worth of vouchers after coming second in the competition with her hand-drawn design of a traditional Christmas tree.
